Telstar sets goalkeeper Swolfs

Goalkeeper Anthony Swolfs will play for the Witte Leeuwen next season. The 21-year-old Belgian signed a contract for one season with an option for a second season. Swolfs comes over from KAA Gent which lent him the past season to Waasland-Beveren.

Piet Buter about attracting goalkeeper Swolfs. "Our goalkeeper trainer Cor Varkevisser has looked at Anthony a few times and seen him at work at the highest level in Belgium. Anthony made a good impression on us. With his height, drive, talent and willingness to invest in himself, we think he fits in perfectly with the Telstar that we have in mind. A young goalkeeper who was trained at Club Brugge, I am very happy that Anthony goes for the challenge at Telstar. It is now up to him and the other goalkeepers to make the trainer Mike Snoei incredibly difficult during the preparation."

Anthony Swolfs will join us at the beginning of July when the White Lions start their preparations for the new season.
